Story
Kung fu prodigy Li Fong is uprooted from his home in Beijing and forced to move to New York City. When a friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition. Li’s teacher, Mr. Han, recruits the original Karate Kid Daniel LaRusso to help him. On November 21, 2023, Sony released a video featuring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan announcing that they would both be returning for the new film, as well as a global casting search for the new “Karate Kid” lead.
