Remake of “Jupiter” (2019). “Jupiter” is a beautifully executed film that successfully absorbed us into the inner world of a teenage girl who faced not only the problems of insecurity, but also the trials of her disabled younger brother and the descent of her parents into madness. This is a dizzying landscape and space bordering on science fiction, even psychological horror. During the discussion after the film, I was struck that the first comment was about sympathy for parents. I had to counterpoint that in the madness and horror of the world, children are tragically and inexplicably ignored. I even noted that many adults cannot be helped anymore.
