Clive Standen will reprise his voice role as the main character Demetrius Titus in the video game Space Marine 2.
Secret Level, Amazon’s answer to NETFLIX’s LD&R, is in the original element
Blur is the studio behind one of Love, Death & Robots’ best episodes, opening with Sonnie’s Edge. They’re also behind a slew of iconic games, from 2001’s Return to Castle Wolfenstein to this year’s Black Ops 6. Add your own take on “secret levels”; up to 15 game franchises, each consisting of 15 episodes of varying lengths, for wow.
And they succeed – visually
There are stunning visuals galore, from the photorealism of Crossfire to Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons to the more stylized world of Sifu. There’s violence aplenty, blood flows by the gallon, guts spill, creatures and people meet their brutal ends, and overall it’s bleak, with little to no humor. There’s a lack of coherence and meaning.
As hollow, instantly forgettable entertainment, it’s a hit
With two exceptions, the plots and stories are simple and either trivial or laughable. There are repetitive elements; flashbacks, voices, inner voices, all spouting nonsense. Your guide to all the new movies and shows coming to Prime Video this month in the US.
